It may be April but we’ve had some cracking early season sails in the past. This trip is a fabulous introduction to sailing a historic sailing ship. We’ll give you a bit of a history lesson about Irene and an introduction to the basics of sailing her before a fabulous lunch is laid on. Once that’s down, it’s up with the sails for an afternoon exploring Falmouth Harbour, the River Fal or a trip across to Helford River. You get involved as much as you’ve got the energy for! Helm the ship, haul up the anchor or trim the jibs. Alternatively, there might be a gin and tonic that needs drinking as you watch the scenery drift by.
Well return in the early evening for a champagne sundowner as we take in the fabulous setting that is Falmouth.
To extend your introduction to Irene, why not add on dinner, bed and breakfast and really enjoy the full Irene experience! Just let us know whether you want to book this for the night before your voyage or the night of the voyage. For a couple sharing a cabin and joining us for dinner, bed and breakfast, the cost is £75. On your own? No problem, for a single person it’s only £50.
