Irene Trading Ketch – Traditional Sailing Charters
Sail back in time with the crew of Irene for a traditional sailing charter and experience a taste of maritime heritage on board this fabulous ship, recently awarded the Flagship of the Year by National Historic Ships.
Irene has been maintained above decks in a thoroughly traditional way, giving you the opportunity to experience what it was like to sail one of these ships in the early 1900s. Charlie and his crew will give you all the support you need to involve yourself in as much sailing as you have the energy for! Haul on the halyards, helm the ship or simply sit back and enjoy the ride, the choice is entirely yours. Below decks, though, it is a different story. With four en suite cabins, a large comfortable saloon and outstanding catering from our ship's cook, Rachel, Irene provides a level of comfort that the sailors of yesteryear could only dream of.
Join us this year for a traditional sailing charter. We have many trips around the Scottish and Cornish coasts, taking in the Inner Hebrides, The Scilly Isles and Helford River and we have festival specials in France and voyages to the Channel Island from The Solent. Our winter programme sees us heading over to the Canary Isles for some winter sun and exhilarating sailing. Voyages last from a single day to a week or more and cater for all budgets and interests. Whether your passion is dolphin spotting off the Jurassic coast or experiencing the delights of some of the islands off the coast of the UK, we have a memorable voyage for you.
